Well, i have a few friends that are my age, and they each have a cartoon character they'd "marry" so that makes me feel, um... a little less nuts, i guess.

No, they didn't actually marry a character. I meant that if the character that they like so much was real, they would want to marry them or be their girlfriend. That's what they told me.

There's actually a website where you can "marry" a cartoon and anime character, but I've forgotten the link. You get an online certificate and everything. By the way, I think it's somewhat normal to crush on - or even love - a non-existing, animated character. It's nothing to be ashamed of, even if you get teased a lot by your fellow peers (veteran right here!!). It's alright at a young age, but for an adult...That's when it seems strange to me. I'm sorry. But don't feel ashamed! Think of this - while some prep girl makes fun of you for loving a Toon, she's back at home writing poetry and then reading it aloud to a life size, cardboard cut-out of Orlando Bloom's Legolas from Lord of the Rings.
